#FloodRelief Service Opportunity: The Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) has contacted Med Mission, a mobile free medical clinic, to help coordinate nurses to administer tetanus vaccines for state and federal response teams who assist with the flood and post-flood activities on Tuesday 10/20/15. There is a need for a total of 10 nurses. Five nurses for a clinic from 10am-2pm in the Bylthewood area and five nurses for a second clinic from 11am-7pm at the Lower Richland Disaster Recovery Center. Volunteer nurses will be under the umbrella of DHEC and will be covered by the DHEC malpractice insurance for these clinics. If you are interested in helping, contact Eva Pele at 803-530-8805.
