Many thanks to the vcsfoundation and generous donors in the community who have helped bring the Sgt. Ron Helus Training Facility to life! The purpose of the training facility is to provide the tools our deputies need to train and prepare for modern-day threats. The highlight of the facility is a two-story live-fire ballistic structure that deputies and local area cooperating agencies can train in. The design of the structure allows those training to become familiar with the stresses of maneuvering, coordinating, and securing a location under live-fire conditions.
