Last week, in recognition of National Peace Officers Memorial Month, we were honored to have visits from special guests Gabriella Aguirre Miramontes and Sammy and Mateo Miramontes – the daughter and grandsons of late Deputy Peter Aguirre who was tragically killed in the line of duty in 1996. Gabi, Sammy, and Mateo made special stops at each of our stations to distribute blue ribbons to be displayed on patrol unit antennas to commemorate the month.
