Ventura County’s finest are braving triple digit heat to compete in the annual Baker 2 Vegas relay race this weekend. Beginning in Baker and spanning 120 miles to the finish line in Las Vegas, 20 runners and many volunteers work in close coordination to deliver runners to remote starting places, to provide continuous support throughout each leg of the run, and to turn in a consistently competitive race time.
