Last night, K9 Andy and Deputy Collins assisted Thousand Oaks Direct Enforcement Unit Detectives on a traffic stop. Andy conducted a search of the exterior of the vehicle and alerted to the odor of narcotics. Once inside the vehicle, Andy alerted to the center console which revealed a hidden compartment containing approximately 460 gross grams (1 pound) of methamphetamine.
