The Honor Guard was present today to support the men and women of the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office at the memorial service for Deputy Adam Gibson. The Honor Guard and deputies from the K-9 Unit traveled to Roseville to attend the service. Deputy Adam Gibson was killed in the line of duty along with his K-9 partner on January 18th . The Honor Guard is tasked with posting The Colors and representing the Sheriff’s Office at various governmental meetings, dedications, memorials and other events, however, the main duty of the Honor Guard is attending funerals.
