BREAKING: Former #Canucks winger Jake Virtanen has been charged with one count of sexual assault in connection with an alleged incident that occurred on September 26, 2017 according to Vancouver police. He has denied the allegation. It has not been proven in court. In the action filed in B.C. Supreme Court, the now 23-year old woman, identified only by the initials M.S., alleged she was the victim of an unwanted sexual encounter with #Virtanen and is seeking unspecified damages for “pain, suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, loss of physical, mental and emotional health.”
