i want to start off by thanking the Black Sport Business Academy the_bsba through the Black Sport Business Academy (BSBA) we were invited to Charlotte, NC where we partnered with Tepper Sports & Entertainment to create a capstone experience. during this trip we had the opportunity to build connections with executives from the Carolina Panthers (NFL) and Charlotte FC (MLS). my cohort and i got a behind-the-scenes view of the business of sports during the Thursday Night Football game when the Carolina Panthers took on the Atlanta Falcons as we shadowed a variety of departments throughout the game. i will forever be grateful for this opportunity that allowed me to network with executives and be around likeminded individuals interested in the sports industry from a variety of different HBCU’s.
