The future of the flight deck. ✈️ ✈️ It's #GirlsInAviationDay—a day to educate and introduce young women to careers in aviation. While we can't host events at airports this year, we have a message for the next generation of women aviators from Captain Mary Ann Schaffer, engineer, lawyer and System Chief Pilot (she oversees all the other pilots 😉): "When I first started as a pilot, people were not used to seeing women in the flight deck. There were obstacles in my way, but I never let it stop me. When young girls see me in the airport, in my uniform, I want them to see the smile on my face and the pride I have in what I do."
