Huli is a prized possession in some parts and is often shared between friends and neighbors. It represents the start of something new, being the part of the plant that regrows another #kalo plant. Sharing #huli is a way to propagate this staple Hawaiian food and connect with the ʻāina. joeyutu_clan harvested these from his family loʻi on the west side of Oʻahu. ⁣ Kama‘āina Tip: Take only memories, leave only footprints. According to legend, it’s bad luck to take rocks, sand, or anything natively Hawaiian away from the Islands.⁣ ⁣ Featured Product: Mio Lī (Hunter / Lava Rock) ⁣ #OluKai #AnywhereAloha #Kona #Archipelago #Oahu #Hawaii #Hawaiian #Legend
