Honor essential and domestic workers this Labor Day Weekend by visiting a new Chicago-based mural making a debut at the corner of Milwaukee Avenue and Hubbard, depicting four Chicagoans who have worked throughout the pandemic. Each person honored touches Chicago on a daily basis, said artist Sam Kirk, who met with each worker to interview before painting the mural. “These are the individuals working late at night or early in the morning, making sure our days go the way they should,” Kirk said.
