"I remember being at lift with my teammates the day the university notified their students of the changes that were about to take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I remember not knowing if I should go to my 5:30PM class that night. In the coming days, and one by one, events were cancelled, and classes were moved online. Then residence halls and university-owned housing were closing and I was forced to move out of my home and back to Kentucky. I knew being so far from everyone who made me the person I am today would be hard. It has been, but I am grateful for the time I am getting to spend with my family. My thoughts go out to those who are not able to return home and I pray for their safety and resiliency during this time. My thoughts also go out to those whose health has been directly impacted by COVID-19. This situation has rattled our time as students and has changed things for everyone worldwide. I feel peace in knowing that the University of Delaware is still providing services...
