The pipeline, greenlit by the Trump administration, jeopardizes our land and water. And their court-ordered environmental impact statement has not only yet to be finalized, but also fails to account for Energy Transfer's history of criminal charges and poor safety record.
And that’s not all. Energy Transfer, the company behind the pipeline, is now suing Greenpeace USA for supporting Indigenous activism against pipeline expansion, toxic air pollution and toxic water pollution. And, the company is alleging that Greenpeace orchestrated the entire resistance at Standing Rock.
