As you have heard alluded to in other recent posts, whenever there was a lull, before practice, on the bus, in the locker rooms, wherever really, Nixon would break out in song. Whitney Houston songs were her go to. Ironically, one of her favorite Whitney Houston’s songs, “The Greatest Love of All,” really speaks to the mission of Tribe hockey too though. I personally LOVE how the Tribe coaches have always made a point to include even the littlest of hockey enthusiasts! Very few programs invest that early; however, I know that this has already sparked a passion for hockey and all things Tribe for many of children of former Tribe hockey players.
