#2016bestnine "Men go forth to wonder at the heights of mountains, the extent of the oceans, and the courses of the stars, and omit to wonder at themselves." - St. Augustine I've been lucky enough to discover some beautiful places this past year. Many sunsets over oceans, hiking mountains, exploring new landscapes. But I have also explored some new personal and emotional terrain: leaving a secure job, moving home for the summer to help my mother while sick, and taking chances on love and work and moving across the country. I am grateful that I was able to take these chances and grateful for the people who encouraged me along the way. I promise to continue to wonder in 2017.
