It was my best year to date athletically and my toughest year mentally. Both of which I am beyond grateful for. I began the year with a win at 50km Nationals in my hometown and followed it with wins from the mile to 20k. To cap it off I broke the oldest record on the books in USA Track and Field, the rarely contested Indoor 10000m. While it may not seem like much, I like to believe my technique did the record justice and that is what I'm most proud of this weekend.
