A deep love of mountain running, had my first beautiful baby and forever grateful to my organ donor. Last year I was given a second chance at life after receiving a very unexpected and very urgent liver transplant. Before my transplant, I was a runner. Since my transplant, I'm a runner with a new thirst for life and appreciation for everything, especially mountain running. Why do I run? I run because I can, because I was 48 hours from death and never being able to run again. I run because my wonderful organ donor gave me the gift to be able to use my body. I owe it to her to keep that gift in tip-top condition and to live a life big and brave enough for both of us. I've just qualified to represent Team GB for the World Transplant Games 20...
