This week’s #MajorMonday features sophomore Thea Michovsky. “I am a viticulture and enology major! Being from Napa, I was always around the vineyard and winemaking atmosphere, so when I got to Davis, I took a VEN course. After that, I decided to pursue viticulture and enology because I found that class really interesting and fun! So far, my favorite class has been VEN 2. I learned about the different components to a successful wine grape and how complex they are. My plans after graduation are still unclear, I would like to combine my education with my love to travel and work at various wineries across Europe. Within those plans, I haven’t decided what specialty I want to pursue specifically. However, I am interested in being a lab technician and crop researcher, as well as a winemaker and vineyard manager.” #ThisIsWhoWeAre #GoAgs
