"I am currently doing an internship at the UC Davis veterinary medicine teaching hospital in small animal surgery, where I am given the privilege of standing at the head of the table in the operating room watching the veterinarians work their magic on the most extraordinarily complex surgical cases. I am also an intern at the yolo county animal services shelter where I work on animal behavior of stray dogs allowing them to become adoptable.
