👻 Happy Halloween! 🎃
Our Partners for Safety, which include calgarypolice,
albertahealthservices, Calgary Emergency Management Agency (CEMA), Calgary Fire Department, Calgary Transit and Calgary Community Standards, will be out today to ensure that our streets are safe for all the little ghouls & goblins trick-or-treating.
If you see the teams out give them a wave (or a howl 🐺)
A few tips to remember:
🦇 A bright costume with reflector tape will make children more visible to drivers
🦇Parents should help their kids plan a route and set a time to be home
🦇Ensure your front entrance is well-lit to welcome trick-or-treaters
🦇 Keep front lawns and pathways clear of obstacles
🦇 When driving, slow down and be extra cautious in residential areas
🦇 Watch carefully for people using pedestrian crossings
