In addition, here are just a few everyday actions we can all take to manage our energy use #fortheclimateyyc: 🌎 Buy local food & products to support local farmers, producers & the economy. This also reduces the transportation emissions associated with the products purchased. 🌎 Wash clothes in cold water! Bonus points if you wait for a full load before running the washing machine. 🌎 Use LED light bulbs whenever possible which use 70 to 90 per cent less energy than a standard bulb. Take it a step further and be sure to turn lights off in rooms that are unoccupied.
