Today, September 30 is #OrangeShirtDay, a National Day for Truth and Reconciliation to commemorate the Indian Residential School experiences and to witness and honour the healing journey of the survivors and their families. It also continues the ongoing process of reconciliation. Through the Indigenous Relations Office, we’re committed to working with the community to educate people about the history of Indigenous people in Calgary and the surrounding areas.
