Good morning! Calgary doesn't look like this yet, but there's snow on the way. ❄️ A special weather statement has been issued for Calgary with potential for large amounts of accumulation in a short period of time later this morning and early this afternoon. Drive safe and be sure to leave extra time to get where you need to go. While conditions of roads may appear clear, you should drive to winter conditions, especially before and after the sun goes down and the temperature drops. Low temperatures can create icy conditions. Watch for trouble spots, including bridge decks, ramps and hills, and in residential areas. When the snow starts falling, crews will focus on high-volume Priority 1 routes (such as Crowchild Trail, Glenmore Trail) to keep the highest number of Calgarians moving safely.
