Johannes Sobotta (1869-1945) was a German anatomist known for his atlas on human anatomy in three volumes, Atlas der deskriptiven Anatomie des Menschen. First published in 1904 with numerous later editions, this illustration of a mustached cadaver head comes from our copy printed in Munich between 1944-1948.
