That said, this does not pass the smell test on “human trafficking”. Their one-time nanny is accusing them of paying and treating her poorly, and fudging some paperwork so she could stay in Italy. Separating fact from former employee trying to get a fat (unearned) settlement check can be tough sometimes. Perhaps more will come out on this in the future. For the time being what I can say is this: accusations of homewrecking, cheating, international tax fraud and human trafficking can either make you or break you as a couple.
