Camille Scheyer ‘20 made a connection with YFH Alum Katie Rivkin-Visser ‘06 last year. Katie helped her get a position working for the Department of Defense in Washington, D.C. this past summer. . Cam held the position of Policy Intern in Stability and Humanitarian Affairs office, specifically focusing on Peacekeeping and Stability Operations. . What Cam enjoyed most about her position was that she was really in the thick of the action and dealing with substantial, real world issues. “It’s surreal to see how my office’s policy contributions have consequential influence across the globe!” . Cam is incredibly thankful for the YFH alumni network. Meeting Katie has been instrumental in shaping her academic and professional careers.
