At CGI U 2015, Ayo Adebiyi committed to improve maternal healthcare in Nigeria by partnering with community-based health clinics to educate mothers on family planning and childcare. Earlier this month, Ayo delivered newborn care kits to 59 new moms and educated them on safe ways to care for their child on subjects related to immunizations, breastfeeding, reducing infections through proper hand washing, and more. Four years after making her commitment as a student at Miami Dade College, Ayo continues to work toward improving health outcomes in Nigeria.
