CourtVision International Founder Robert Pecchio came to CGI U in 2015 with the idea of using organized basketball to stem youth violence in the Caribbean. Since then, he has worked with youth organizations all over the world to equip young people with conflict management and social skills through sports, dialogue, and conflict resolution training. To quote Otoniel, a 15-year-old beneficiary of the program from the Dominican Republic, “Basketball united us as a family without regard to race, color, language, and culture.
