Students in the Senior Seminar in Environmental Studies (#ENST495) headed out of the city for a day at apricotlanefarms. The biodynamic and organic farm located in Moorpark is the subject of the documentary “The Biggest Little Farm.” Students spent the day learning about sustainable farming practices that may help combat climate change like using cover crops in orchards and fields, which require less irrigation.
