This weekend USC Dornsife Trojans got their hands dirty volunteering at A Place Called Home as part of USCAlumni’s annual Day of #SCervice. . A Place Called Home provides young people who face tremendous challenges a place where they can learn, grow and build community. Their gardens serve as an outdoor classroom as students learn about growing their own nutritious food and also help provide fruit and vegetables for the nearly 5,000 fresh meals served every month. . Master Gardener Maya Yaniv walked volunteers through repairing plant beds, planting seeds and adding nutrients to the soil. .
