Happy #FacultyFriday! Today we get to know Ange-Marie Hancock Alfaro, chair of gender studies and professor of political science and sociology. In describing her expertise, she says, “I study intersectionality, which means I study all the things you’re not supposed to talk about at cocktail parties or Thanksgiving! I study the impact of gender, race, sexuality and other categories on U.S. politics.
