Wondering what the solar eclipse will look like from where you’re standing?
If you’re not located in the few lucky states that will have prime seats for the event, that doesn’t mean you’ll completely miss out on the action. Sure, you won’t witness the moon blocking out the sun in its entirety—but you'll be able to experience different degrees of the eclipse.
It all depends on the percentage of totality your location is going to experience. And as scientific and nerdy as that sounds, the aptly named National Eclipse website has made it easy with a map to find out what percentage of the eclipse you'll be able to see: For example, if you’re in Denver, you’ll see about 65% of the eclipse. And in Miami, that drops to around 46%.
Now, what exactly does that mean? Check the link in our bio to find out.
Where will you be watching the eclipse from?
