Bobby, a Nampa native , is a son of migrant workers who traveled between Texas, Michigan, and Idaho for work. Starting at 15-years old, Bobby channel his inspiration of the graffiti he saw along his travels through his art. He primarily taught himself. When Bobby created a shirt of Selena Quintanilla prior to her death, he had no clue that shirt would launch his artistic career. When Selena was tragically killed, the Latino community was seeking ways to remember the talented singer. An owner of a popup store in Mountain Home remembered that Bobby created the Selena shirt , and that’s when his career as an artist took off.
