Founded by Mae Gaines, ohvegansoul is bringing some soul to the vegan scene. Not only is she a business owner, she’s a local performing artist and songwriter, with performances at the Village Festival here in Boise. With her stage name Cheekz, Mae is a fusion artist with her reggae/soul sound. ohvegansoul has recently been awarded the peta Vegan Soul Food Award — one of the top 5 vegan spots in the Nation! Like many small business owners, Mae is seeking ways to survive these times. She launched a Go Fund Me to help purchase a food truck.
