๐ŸŒ‰ THE PERRINE BRIDGE ๐ŸŒ‰ How was my day trip to Twin Falls?! Such a great time. I explored so much, and thatโ€™s just the beginning! Im working on a ๐Ÿ†• blog post to highlight my trip. In the meantime, Iโ€™ll share some highlight reels from my trip this week. Like visiting the Perrine Bridge. Originally named the Twin Falls-Jerome Intercounty Bridge, a steel cantilever bridge was opened to traffic 93ย years ago in September 1927, and formally dedicated by Governor H. C. Baldridge on October 1, 1927. During the 1970s, the original bridge was outdated and unable to manage heavier loads. Construction on the new bridge was started in early 1970s and finished in 1976. The bridge was dedicated and renamed to the Perrine Bridge โ€” named after I.B. Perrine , credited for his efforts in leading irrigation efforts in the Magic Valley and being one of the founders of Twin Falls.
