In anticipation of their first event this season, I had a chance to tour the idahobotanicalgarden . Like many of you, I only explore the Idaho Botanical Gardens to attend special events: Fall Festival, Scarecrow Stroll, and Winter aGlow. I never visited during regular operating hours to literally stop & smell the roses.
Gill, events operations manager, was my tour guide. Gill shared some cool facts that I was unaware of. For example, do you know why it's called "Outlaw Field?" Gill and I also chatted about "Create & Connect" -- the Garden's first event since COVID19. Like many non-profits, Idaho Botanical Gardens has not been shielded from COVID19 impact. As a result, they had to cancel their annual large fundraising event. In true pivot form, the Idaho Botanical Gardens is hosting Create & Connect: a fundraiser featuring food, drinks, live music, DIY kits, and lots of social distancing.
You can purchase tickets for their brunch time (10am to 1pm) or Happy Hour (4pm to 7pm)....
