Founded in 1995 by Greg Koenig, koenigvineyards goal is to hand-craft small lots of fine varietal wines from the Sunny Slope District of Idaho’s Snake River Valley. Located in Caldwell, Koenig Vineyards is about a 45-minute drive from Boise. Their scenic views alone are worth the drive. Varieties of wine include: Viognier, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, and Chardonnay. When the occasion is right, they also produce Ice Wine ( my fav!). Have you been to koenigvineyards?!
