POTATO LOVER MONTH #DidYouKnow February is Potato Lover Month? In 1937, the Idaho Potato Commission was created as the Idaho Fruit and Vegetable Advertising Commission. At that time, the state of Maine was the largest potato producer (I actually visited a potato farm in northern Maine). The Commission’s primary goal was to invest into the marketing of Idaho potatoes. In 1959, the “Grown In Idaho” seal was introduced. The Idaho Potato Commission even owns the trademark “Idaho.” I’ll share other fun facts of the Idaho Potato throughout the month. To celebrate Potato Lover Month, I suggest you order this Idaho potato pins straight from the Idaho Potato Commission website. They’re FREE for Idaho residents. You’ll have to pay shipping if you order online. You can also pick them up from their office in Eagle to save shipping fees. Head over to the idahopotatoes, explore their website, and cross “idaho Potato pin” off your boise_bucketlist ✅ 🥔 ✅ 🥔 #PotatoLoversMonth #IdahoPotatoes #I...
