💗 GIVING TUESDAY 💗 For this #GivingTuesday, I’d like to highlight rmhidaho . Since 1988, rmhidaho has been keeping families of sick children together — giving them a place to rest and refresh. rmhidaho vision is to provide families with a safe & secure place for healing filled with hope and comfort. My first time visiting a rmhc was in college; I was president of a volunteer organization (Circle K), and we prepared a spaghetti dinner for families. Since then, I’ve volunteering at various RMHs since then. Last month, I was fortunate to get a sneak peek inside the new RMH here in Boise. It’s a 40,000 square foot home which will house more than THREE times the number of families than the current house. In 2018, RMH had to turn away 82 families. Thanks to pledges and donations by the community, this new house will offer 47 guest rooms, private day rooms, and a large kitchen, pantry, and dining room.
