DÍA DE MUERTOS The idahostatemuseum has partnered with jumpboise and the Hispanic community to commemorate a significant cultural tradition: Día de Muertos. Día de Muertos is the most important tradition for Mexico and Central America (Mesoamerica) that worships death through life. November 1st is the day that commemorates all the Saints, (Todos los Santos), meaning that is dedicated to the kids or babies who are gone. November 2nd is for the Faithful Departed (Fieles Difuntos), dedicated to adults. Head to the museum TODAY from 10am-5pm for pan de Muerto from Nueva Vida Bakery, face painting, and hot chocolate donated from Open Table. Enjoy a screening of Disney Pixar’s Coco at 10:30 (in English) and at 2pm (in Spanish). All activities are included in the regular admission price of the Museum.
