🇯🇵JAPAN DAY 2019 🇯🇵 This Labor Day, head down to the Basque Block for the annual Japan Day. Japan Day is hosted by the idahojapaneseassociation and funded by the City of Boise Department of Art and History grant. Japan day is a FREE family-friendly event to experience Japanese culture. It features display booths, food vendors, and Japanese performances, such as traditional Japanese dance, koto (Japanese stringed musical instrument), calligraphy, shishimai (lion dance), shamisen, taiko (traditional Japanese drumming), and martial arts.
