COLLABIVERSAY 2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣9️⃣ In April 2018, I was playing with the idea 💡 to host a networking event that was light, fun & connected likeminded women in one atmosphere. In May 2018, I host my first “Mixer” and decided to call it “Collaboration Over Competition .” I hosted it at citycenterwines because I met the owner a few months back after attending a truffles_etc Valenitnes’s event. I pitched her the idea of having this “Collab thing”, and she was so supportive. I sure as heck had no idea I’d have another one due to the interest expressed by women. After my first event, I immediately booked the 2nd one for June. Fast forward to now, with the genuine support & collaborative spirit of women in Idaho, collabovercompetitionmixer has grown to host 15+ events, 750+ total attendees, officially expanded to Twin Falls (collabovercomp_twinfalls), a private membership group, and inspired other women to build communities in their respective spaces.
