PAELLA ON THE PATIO
With my Puerto Rican background, I was excited to learn Boise has this rich Basque culture (many Puerto Ricans have a direct Spanish background; my last name is traced back to Spain 🇪🇸). I was raised on paella 🥘 (we have it each New Year’s Day for good luck). That’s why I love the paella on the patio.
Each Wednesday at noon, thebasquemarket prepares and serves up delicious seafood, chicken and chorizo paella with freshly baked bread. Make sure to arrive early to secure a seat. You can even pair the paella with a glass of wine 🍷 or a bubbly Spanish soda while watching the paella preparation, or take it to go. It’s only $9.99/person.
Want paella for dinner?! The Basque Market serves paella dinner at 6pm each Thursday. The paella dinner is larger & includes mixed green salad 🥗. Head over to the thebasquemarket and cross their Paella on the Patio off your boise_bucketlist ✅✅
