#BOIBucketListTravels While driving to Utah, I decided to checkout Bruneau Dunes State Park. I’ve been meaning to go, especially when they host their stargazing events. Bruneau Dunes State Park features several large sand dunes and 2 small lakes. It’s reported that the park has the highest single-structured sand dune in North America. The park itself is about an hour from Boise, south of Mountain Home. It was a bit windy, but I’ll take that over extremely hot. I’m so glad I got a chance to see the Dunes. I want to go back and checkout the observatory and rent a sand board to slide down the dunes! Have you been to the Bruneau Dunes?!
