Thanks to the city_of_boise Department of Arts and History grant, the #idahojapaneseassociation hosted Japan Day 2018 at the Basque Block today . They had food vendors (hey wannamatchatea!) , mini flea market, kid activities, performances, and other cool ways to celebrate Japanese culture. This time Instead of food, I elected to wait in line for the calligraphy. For $1, I got my name written in Japanese letters (for my office), and then for $5 I purchased a fan with "Kindness" in calligraphy. In two days, I went to 2 different cultural celebrations, and I ❤️ it! I can't wait to put these both in my office. Did you end up going to Japan Day 🇯🇵?!
