Little Joys Remembrance Foundation (littlejoysidaho) focuses on supporting families who experience pregnancy and infant loss by fundraising for CuddleCots and offering remembrance events that celebrate the lives of those sweet babies gone too soon. A CuddleCot is a cooling device that slows the physical changes of an infant after passing. By regulating the core body temperature, families are given uninterrupted time to take pictures, introduce baby to family and friends who may be hours away, and create special memories in the short time they are together. Babies pass everyday in Idaho. In 2016 alone, 383 babies passed from 20 weeks gestation through one year of age. While we cannot always foresee or prevent this devastating loss, our goal is to ensure every hospital is offering families the option of time via the CuddleCot.
