for the past year I've been volunteering at the animal shelter to help socialize the cats... seeing their behavioral/physical problems heal, and them ultimately finding homes warms my heart like nothing else. I 100% encourage adoption when you are looking for a pet... when you adopt you save 2 lives - the pet you're taking home & the animal who is saved from euthanasia who will take the empty cage.
