Did you know SDSU has an ice hockey team? This #WhereAmIWednesday, we are at Kroc Center Ice Arena, which is home to SDSU's ice hockey team. The SDSU Aztecs pack the rink with nearly 700 fans to watch their home matches here! Rising from Division III to Division I, SDSU Coach Phillip Bateman credits the team’s growth to determination, diversity and electric gameday atmosphere. The team welcomes students that come to SDSU to combine their dream of pursuing a higher education with their passion for ice hockey. This year's team includes a total of 29 players, 20 of them are first-year students. “The student body that comes down to our games always loves it,” Bateman said about the fan experience at the arena. “They're loud.
