The countdown to #FutureCamp is on, and we’re so excited to introduce you to one of this summer’s instructors, interdisciplinary artist Sarah Cohen of sarahcohenstudio! Joining us at camp for her second summer, Sarah mainly works in glass to transform natural materials. Transplanted in Pittsburgh in 2015 after working for many other artists, Sarah started her own studio to practice full time. Working with glass mosaics inspired by nature, Sarah also continues to focus on nature through her jewelry business, petalvision.glass, started in 2016. Sarah worked with students last summer to create the wings (pictured in this post!) as well as a unique drawing tool.
