Introducing world team cymbal player, Ian Runninger! Ian is 20 years old and is a graduate of Norton HS in Ohio. Coming from a rich marching experience, Ian is heading into his 3rd year with Matrix. He has performed with us in Unsteady and Life as a Movie. Outside of indoor band, he has spent two summers with Phantom Regiment on the hornline. His favorite color is orange, and loves to watch How I Met Your Mother. Most of his influence to join the family came from a multitude of instructors of the same background at Norton. Not only that, but he has a twin in the ensemble (Noah, marimba) that has stuck by him at Phantom Regiment as well as here at Matrix!
